Let me just start this by saying that this is the best field trip [so far] of my 3 years of college liiiife.
I went to the airport alone with my heavy baggage and got checked-in just in time. I thought I was flying alone and I was just petrified. But thank heavens I saw my orgmates while waiting to board. We were on the last “on-time” flight before all the flights until the day after got cancelled. Lucky day, I say. We arrived safely at CDO then spontaneously decided to go together to the city to meet my friend wherein we stayed the night.
The day started with rain. We left my friend’s house at around 6am. It was pouring like the heavens just got mad at us. There were no PUV’s in the area and we were like trekking carrying our heavy luggage. Good thing Erika [our mother in the group] thought of asking help from a pick-up truck we saw while “trekking”. It was a miracle that the stranger let us ride his pick-up truck. He said that he was also going to the city so it was alright. So, there I rode a pick-up for the first time in the pouring rain with my luggage. It kinda felt like infinity I must say. I was almost blown away, literally because this is a thunderstorm chasing us, yo!
We finally arrived to the hotel wherein we had our breakfast and supposedly transportation to Camiguin. The transpo was late, utterly late. for like two and a half hours. They told us during dinner [later] that there was a bomb threat in the area so they cannot go to the hotel for some time. They waited for the chaos to die down before letting us travel again. That was real scary shit.
Okay back tracking.. we rode the van going to the pier to Camiguin.
then we rode a jeep to go around Camiguin because it’s uphill. It was still pouring btw.
So lucky to have such a fun fun group with me. The hassle travel was suddenly a breeze because of them. We were wet and wild indeed!! Our first destination was the Katibawasan Falls.
Can I just say that we were freezing our asses of in this photo. Grabe, it was so cooooold and the rain was still pouring but we had to do it!! Sayang naman if we don’t. We were the brave ones who dared to get out in the rain and enjoy the falls.
We went to a hot spring after because we were freezing hahaha. Then headed back to the hostel wherein they told us why the transpo was delayed just like what I mentioned. Then we drank the night away. I got no photos of that for you I’m sorry. (;
Finally going to the White Island! We were waiting for the beach for so long!! The rain finally took a rest and let us enjoy a few moments of sunshine! :D
Okay obligatory turista photos first. hahahahahaha.
Another. Can I just say that we were so excited that we were taking selfies on the boat pa lang! =))
See excitement? HAHAHA.
Hello lovely island. <:
TS logo with orgmates.
Had a blast with roomates/King of Cups barkada!! THE. BEST. Wasaaaaaque
Best people ever. Clingy friends until now. We still go to dinners together. I thank Jesus for I finally found my crowd in my college. Yaaaaay, hopefully ‘til our next trip together! i heart this photo, it’s my BB’s wallpaper. :3
BTW, we tasted this sea urchin delicacy. It was served raw and they just pour some vinegar then you eat it! Infairness, sarap na pulutan! HAHAHAHAHHA. Actually they also sell below zero beer and grilled tuna that you can bring to the island. Saraaaap!
Pardon me. This is the only solo photo I have in the island. I don’t even have a solo in a digi cam or anything. Maybe I enjoyed myself too much to mind taking lots of photos. (:
Voila. We went straight to the pier again right after White Island to have our late lunch in Bukidnon. We haven’t had our lunch yet here but obligatory turista photo again hahahahha.

Obligatory turista foto again then off we go..
Bye forest paaaark!!!!
It was scary going down the mountain. The rain was pouring again and we can’t even afford to sleep even if we were so tired because of paranoia. We, thankfully arrived safely in the city and had a decent dinner and reunited with the other people who were in the delayed flights right after us. And because of this, we drank the night away.. again. =))))
Most of my friends left already at early morning. But yay for orgmates. we had an adventure that night.
Yaaaay after exploring the city and buying pasalubong for our families, we found this cheap videoke bar near our hotel!! This is definitely the highlight of that day after all the drama. Friendship upscale with these girls. <”: What a way to end this trip. c:
